I was thinking today about the access to the bathrooms from the house, right now both full baths are only accessed by the bedroom adjoining them. Meaning, the person in the small bedroom upstairs has to go through another bedroom to take a shower ect... When kids are little, this is not as big of a deal, but as they get older, they really need to be able to get to the shower without having to go through someone else's bedroom. So I think we need to rework the layouts of the main floor baths, and either A) make the powder room a full bath and sacrifice some pantry and room in the other bath, or B) have some access to the main bathroom either through the powder room or the laundry room. I'm not sure how these will rework themselves. But I think it is needed.
Colt said it the best, if we have one kid, it would be fine, if a second decides to come along.... well then we will have issues.
